Although we have a massive stock holding, we cannot stock the thousands of titles currently in print that are offered on the website. If you are unsure whether the title you require is in stock or not, please contact us and we will check. If the book you order is temporarily out of stock we will place a special order for you and will contact you by email as to how long delivery time will be. If you are unhappy with the length of time you may cancel at this point.

However, just in case you do not find the item you are looking, just let us know. We will swing into action and get the desired item for you. You can tell us about the items you want through Wish List . As soon as we are able to acquire your item, we will inform you through e-mail.

Availability is the time we take to acquire an item once you have placed an order for it. It does not include the amount of time taken by your payments to reach us and the time taken by your order to reach you, once we ship it. Shipping time is dependent on the geographical location you reside. So when you actually receive your order is as follows:

Availability + Payment Realisation Time + Shipping Time = Total Delivery Time.

You can cancel your order at any time before the order is shipped.

When you are signed in, you may click See Details for a specific order that hasn't been shipped yet, and you may remove an item by checking the Remove box. Next, click Update Your Order, and we'll ask you to confirm your choice. It is also possible to cancel an entire order by removing each item. If your order has entered our shipping process, it cannot be canceled.

To find your item, you can use "Search Box" or "Search" link or "Browse" link present on the home page. You can find all these on the top navigation bar on almost all the pages of our site.

You can also use the "Browse" facility on the left side panel of your screen. Just click on the subject of your interest.

Search allows you to locate a particular title fast. The Browse function lets you view our entire inventory of products by category.


Search

If you are sure of the title you want to buy, simply enter the title / author / subject / ISBN (any one of these) in the "Search Box" given on the top navigation bar. Press the "Go" button. This will generate a list of all titles that match your search words.


Browse

When you just have a rough idea about what you want, the Browse Subject link is for you. It's on the left side panel of your screen. Just click on the subject of your interest (e.g. medicine). You will be able to view all sub categories under that subject (e.g. anatomy or pathology, etc). Select a category relevant to you. This will give you a whole list of titles that rollerbooks.com offers. Alternately, you can also click on the link Browse Subject given on top navigation bar. You will then be able to view all subject categories and sub categories.


Search Tips

Keyword Search

Use this type of search when you look for a book/CD through the Search Box provided on the top navigation bar. You can enter one or more keywords using any combination of the author's name, the title, and/or a subject heading. If you use more than one keyword, our search engine will restrict the results to items that each match all the keywords you enter.

Here are some examples using Keyword Search:

	Entering "sanjeev kapoor" will get you books by and about sanjeev kapoor.
	Entering "kapoor" will get you books by and about sanjeev kapoor as well as books by other authors named kapoor.
	Entering "medical Anatomy" will find The Textbook of Medical Anatomy or other such matching results .
	Entering " kalam Books " will find all books published by them.

Author Search

For authors with multiple last names, make sure you use a comma between the last names and the first name (e.g., Nidhi V., Srivastava ). To search without a first name or initials, type the complete last name, followed by a comma (e.g ., V. Srivastava ,). If this does not find all the books by the author, you might also try searching by the last word of the author's last name (e.g., Srivastava ).

Exact Name:

Enter the name exactly the way it appears on the book. You can enter it First name Last name or Last name , First name. Use this to narrow a search for an author with a common name, such as Rajnish Tuli. But remember, if you specify "N.V. Srivastava," you will not find books that are in our database under Nidhi V Srivastava.
Last, First Name (or Initials):

You may enter the author's/artist's name in any of the ways listed below:
Last name, First name(s): Srivastava Nidhi V
Last name, First initial(s): Nidhi V Srivastava
First name, Last name: Chetan Bajaj
First initial, Last name: C. Bajaj
Last name: Tuli

Start of Last Name: If you can't spell the author's last name, enter your best guess for the first few letters. For example, "David" will find the author David L. Marcus , as well as David J. Pelzer and David Thomas . For authors with multiple last names, enter only the first of the last names or the start of the first last name.


Title Search

Title Word(s): Enter the main words of the title. It's best if you leave out common words such as 'the'. For example, "Clinical Surgery " will find you the popular Surgery book. 

Start(s) of Title Word(s): Enter the beginning (three or more letters) of the main words in the title. For example, "Finan" will find books on and about Finance. Some book titles are shown twice or thrice in a single search results because of various reasons. The same title could be available for a different price internationally and it could also be available at a special price. Or the same title could be available in paperback as well as hardcover versions. Or the same title could be available in different editions. All you need to do is select the one that suits you the best.


Subject Search

Subject Word(s): Enter one or more words in the subject you want to search for. This search will find books with subjects containing at least one of the words you entered.


ISBN Search

ISBN stand for "International Standard Book Number." Every book sold anywhere in the world should have a unique ISBN, meaning you can find any book in the world simply with that one number, which is never duplicated. It's a 10-digit identification system. The ISBN refers to the specific edition (e.g. trade paperback, mass-market paperback) and is usually located on the back of the book and on the copyright page. 

Example: Entering 0316158267 will find Coustan's Handbook for Prescribing Medications During Pregnancy (3rd Edn) . Entering 039751557x will find fredriksen's rypin's intensive reviews: Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Note: Search by ISBN can have its limitations. For, instance, not all book publishers in India have books with ISBN coding. Besides, we have thousands of titles in our store, which do not have ISBN codes. To search for titles, we recommend using author/title search for better results.


Advanced Search

The Advanced Search form allows you to search on one or more fields. Searching on more than one field may narrow your results to the exact book or books you are looking for.

Search by title, author, or keyword

	Click on the Advanced Search link at the top of most pages in the web site.
	Type the desired title, author, and/or keyword(s) in the text field as described in the General Search Tips.
	You can enter information into one or more fields, but it is not required. The more specific the information you enter, the more exact your search results may be.
	When you have entered all the relevant information, click on the "Search" button to start your search.

	Click on the Advanced Search link at the top of most pages in the web site.
	Type the ten-digit ISBN (International Standard Book Number) in the ISBN search field.
	Click on the "Search" button to start your search. This search will only return the one book with that exact ISBN number.
